Do I need to declare spent convictions?
Most motoring convictions stay on your licence for 4–11 years depending on the offence. You must declare them for the full period they appear on your DVLA record.
Will my premium reduce over time?
Yes. As the conviction ages and eventually drops off your licence, your premium will reduce. We can search for the best rate at each renewal.
Does it make a difference which insurer I use?
